La pérdida de biodiversidad a nivel global es uno de los

EL 23% de su territorio se encuentra bajo algún tipo de protección por su valor medioambiental, siendo unos de los países de Europa con un mayor porcentaje de la red NATURA 2000. Por desgracia, Galicia es la comunidad autónoma con un menor porcentaje de protección, con un 12% de su territorio bajo algún tipo de protección.
