Why is login through Facebook no longer available?
Meta (the company behind Facebook) recently updated the requirements for using its authentication service and unfortunately indie and/or small developers can no longer use it in a user-friendly way that provides us the information needed for creating user accounts.
Therefore, we have disabled the option for logging in through Facebook, at least while Meta keeps the current requirements.
How does that affect my Emapic account?
If you have never logged into Emapic through Facebook, this has no effect on your account and it will continue working as usual.
If you have authenticated via Facebook, you can no longer keep using that method and you will have to log in using your e-mail or username and password, or using Google authentication if it has the same e-mail address as your Facebook account. If you signed up into Emapic via Facebook and you didn't assign a password to your account, or you don't remember it, you can ask us to reset it via this form by providing the e-mail address linked to your Facebook account.
We want to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to you, and remember you can contact us via info@emapic.es if you have any further inquiries about this topic.
